How Freezer Meals Work
- Prep raw ingredients into gallon freezer bags (label with the name and date)
- Lay bags flat in the freezer (they stack efficiently)
- Move a bag to the fridge the night before to thaw
- Dump contents into a slow cooker, Instant Pot, or skillet and cook
1. Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry
Bag contents: 1.5 lbs diced chicken, Β½ cup teriyaki sauce, 1 cup broccoli florets, 1 diced bell pepper, Β½ cup snap peas. Cook: stir-fry in a skillet 10-12 min. Serve over rice.

Bag: 1.5 lbs sliced flank steak, 3 cups broccoli florets, Β½ cup soy sauce, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tsp sesame oil, 3 garlic cloves. Cook: stir-fry 8-10 min. Serve over rice.
10. Lemon Herb Chicken
Bag: 2 lbs chicken breasts, juice of 2 lemons, 3 tbsp olive oil, 4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp each rosemary, thyme, oregano. Cook: bake at 400Β°F for 25 min. Serve with roasted vegetables and potatoes.
Freezer Meal Tips
